With the start of the 2025-26 season drawing ever closer Partick Thistle WFC are delighted to announce a further addition to the squad ahead of the start of the season which is now less than a month away.
Joining David Elliot’s squad is Kate Fraser who joins Thistle on a season long loan from Hearts.

An under 16 and under 17 cap for Scotland centre back Fraser started out at Hamilton Academical before joining the Academy set up with Hearts making her first team debut for the Edinburgh side towards the end of the 23/24 season.
Last season Kate, who is highly rated by Hearts and has recently signed her first professional contract, spent time on loan with Spartans in SWPL1.
Said the Thistle manager David Elliot about his latest recruit; “Kate really impressed me when I saw her play for Spartans last season.
“She is still young at only 17-years-old but with a maturity way above her years. From speaking to her over the summer she is extremely driven and hungry to learn and she’ll be able to do that here.
“She is a big physical defender who loves to get the ball down to play and I look forward to working with her”

Speaking after signing, Kate said: “I learned a lot on my loan spell last season and I really feel this is the perfect place to come and build on that to learn and improve as a player.
“I spoke with the manager during the summer and was really sold on what the club are trying to do and I feel it is the perfect place for me.
“I was always impressed by Thistle last season and I’m excited to be here.
