Partick Thistle WFC are delighted to announce a further addition to the squad with the start of the 2025-26 season now just a matter of days away.

It’s a warm welcome to Keira Syrjanen, the midfielder and Scotland under 17 cap joining Thistle from Ross County.
Keira has been a big part in the development of the Ross County women’s senior side who were only founded ahead of the 2024 season, and capped their inaugural season by lifting the Highlands and Islands league title.
Keira, who hails from Dingwall, has been with the squad during pre-season and was recently included in the invite for the Scotland Under-19 training camp.
Speaking after signing Keira said:
“I’m really excited to become a Partick Thistle player and test myself at the top level.
“It’s a big move for me but one that I’m looking forward to. Being able to learn off the coaches and other players here is a huge opportunity. The girls have been really welcoming and I’ve really enjoyed it during pre-season so I’m looking forward to the league getting underway”

Said David Elliot of his latest capture:
“I’m delighted to add Keira to my squad. She’s impressed both in quality and how she has fitted in with the squad.
She’s a bubbly personality and despite her small stature and age, she’s really mature on the ball.
“She’s already shown her commitment to the club, travelling from up North for training and matches. Unfortunately she picked up a small knock in the last closed door game so will miss a few weeks but I can’t wait to see her in Red and Yellow”
