What’s that? Could it be true? THE SUN IS OUT! And I don’t mean me, your favourite ray of sunshine. I mean the actual shining, sunny sun.
It’s also Sun Awareness Week, so I dropped by to see my pal Bella at Beatson’s HQ earlier to chat about staying safe in the sun. It’s sad to know that Melanoma is actually the second most common cancer in people under 50, so c’mon people, stay safe. Even if the sun isn’t blaring through the clouds, the rays can still shine on through. So when you’re out and about this week and that feeling of “tapps aff” as you say here in beautiful Glasgow takes over and the tops really do come off, remember to slap on the sun tan lotion.
