Partick Thistle Women’s FC are excited to announce the signing of Kodie Hay from Motherwell ahead of the 2023/24 season.
An exciting wide player, Kodie first burst on the scene making her senior debut for Glasgow City while just 16 years old.
Subsequent spells followed with both Hamilton Accies and Celtic before she made the switch to Motherwell in 2020 where she has posed a frequent threat when playing against Thistle over the past few seasons.
Said Thistle manager Brian Graham; “Kodie is a player I’ve been after for a while now so I’m delighted to finally get her to the football club.
“She is a quick, attacking player and offers us further creativity in the forward areas of the pitch.
“I’ve seen her play against us a number of times and she’s always caused us problems so I’m looking forward to having her on our side next season”
After signing on for next season, Kodie said: “I’m really happy to be here. I know a few of the girls from playing with them previously and they’ve got nothing but great things to say.
“I spoke with Brian over the last few weeks and was really impressed with what he had to say.
Having played against Thistle over the last few years the fight and togetherness always struck me and I’m looking forward to being part of that”
