Lesley Ann Webb appointed as Commercial Manager

Partick Thistle FC is delighted to confirm the appointment of new commercial manager, Lesley Ann Webb.

Lesley Ann makes the short journey to Firhill from Greenock, having served as hospitality and sales executive and then commercial manager at Greenock Morton FC since 2014.

Starting in her new role with Thistle today, Lesley Ann will be responsible for looking after all club sponsorships, advertising and events including supporting matchday hospitality. Working alongside club chief executive Gerry Britton, as well as the Firhill media and hospitality staff, Lesley Ann will ensure all sponsors enjoy full value of their partnerships and rights including on matchdays.

Welcoming Lesley Ann to the club, chief executive Gerry Britton said: “We are all thrilled to welcome Lesley Ann to Partick Thistle Football Club, after she emerged as the outstanding candidate from a very strong field of applicants.

“Lesley Ann has a first class track record in managing and growing the sponsorship portfolio at a Scottish football club and we are sure she will be a tremendous asset to the team at Firhill. I’m certain all sponsors and supporters will join me in wishing Lesley Ann a warm welcome to Thistle as she hits the ground running this week.”

Commenting on her arrival at Firhill, Lesley Ann said: “I’m both very proud and delighted to join Gerry and the team here at Firhill and I’m really looking forward to meeting Thistle sponsors and supporters in the weeks and months ahead.

“I’ve had a fantastic seven or so years at Morton and owe a great thanks to many people there, however the prospect of a fresh challenge at a great club like Thistle is something which really excites me. That experience at Cappielow will stand me in great stead as I begin this new chapter in my career and I’m confident I can build on some of the great partnerships already in place to deliver even more commercial success for the club.”
