The loan agreement between Partick Thistle and Brighton and Hove Albion for defender Casper Nilsson has been ended.
The former Malmo right back joined the Jags last August and made four appearances before suffering an injury that saw him return to the English Premiership side for treatment and rehabilitation.
The Swedish under-21 internationalist will not be returning to The Wyre Stadium at Firhill with manager Kris Doolan saying: “I would like to wish Casper well.”
“He was beginning to adapt to Scottish Football when he was injured and unfortunately, he was not able to come back here fully fit.”
“The right decision for all parties was to cancel the loan deal.”
The First Team squad now totals 23 and the club is working, and will continue to work on adding to that number over the next few weeks.
