Partick Thistle can today confirm that Mouhamed Niang will join Alloa Athletic on loan for 2021/22 season, subject to Scottish FA clearance.
The versatile 21-year-old heads to the Indodrill Stadium to expand his first team football experience with the League One side. Thistle retain an option to recall Mouhamed from his loan spell in January.
Sena has featured 25 times for Thistle since making his first team debut early in the 2019/20 campaign. He contributed hugely to our League One title win last season evidenced by the McCrea Mortgages Player of the Month award he won for November 2020.
Everyone at Thistle wishes Mouhamed well during his time on loan at Alloa Athletic.
Thistle manager Ian McCall said:
“This is a great opportunity for Mouhamed. He did brilliantly for us last season but he’s still a young lad who’s learning all the time and needs to be playing games to continue his development.
“We’ve got some really strong options through the spine of our team and while it isn’t easy to put a player out on loan, we know that this is the best option for him to continue to improve. This loan will give him the chance to continue to play regularly and return to Thistle as an improved player.”
