We have teamed up with Paper Hat Theatre to help with the production of ‘The Red Lion’ at Theatre 118 which is based at 118 Osborne Street, Glasgow G1 5QH.
Seventeen yellow Jags first team jerseys with red pin stripes were recently loaned to Paper Hat to be used in multi award-winning writer Patrick Marber’s intense play that thrusts audiences into the locker room of a football club, where the arrival of a star recruit sparks a generational conflict between a veteran kit man and a ruthless manager, each with their own vision of success.
As part of the arrangement several members of Thistle’s staff, including assistant kitman Danny Darroch, have been invited to be in the audience for ‘The Red Lion’ at Theatre 118.
The play is on from Wednesday, November 19 to Saturday November 22 and tickets can be purchased here.
