The partnership between Partick Thistle and matchwornshirt.com that provided football fans with the chance to own the red, yellow and black shirts that Kris Doolan’s squad wore in the recent 5-1 win over Hamilton Academical at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill was a fine success.
All 18 outfield shirts and two goalkeeping ones were the subject of online bids prior to the auction closing on Sunday, November 24 with supporters from the United Kingdom as well as from the United States, Sweden, Netherlands and Belgium all looking to get their hands on the match worn jerseys that had also been autographed.
The highest bid of £248 was received for two-goal hero and skipper Brian Graham with comeback man Steven Lawless’ jersey going for £223.
