Partick Thistle Women’s FC is very happy to announce that defender Taylor McGlashan has signed up for the new season.
Taylor, who is now the club’s longest serving player, joined the club in division one and will be back for the upcoming term as the Jags embark on their first ever campaign in the top flight of Scottish women’s football.
She was a key player for the team last season, making 15 appearances and scoring one goal; away to Glasgow Women last December.
The centre-half returned to the team at the weekend in our SWPL Cup clash with St. Johnstone, helping the team to a win and a clean sheet.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said: “It’s great to have Taylor back, she had been missing until now due to work commitments but is incredibly fit so will be up to speed straight away, it wasn’t a problem to start her against St Johnstone and was great to see her just slot right back into defence.
“She’s a solid defender and will be an important piece as we build a squad for SWPL1”
