McMillan and Graham named in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year

As the second tier regular season edges closer to a conclusion, PFA Scotland have announced the Championship Team of the Year as voted for by the players competing every week in the division.

We’re delighted to say that two Thistle players have been named in the team with Jack McMillan and club captain Brian Graham included in the XI.

Firstly, McMillan has followed up an outstanding 2022/23 season with another impressive campaign on the right side of the Thistle defence.

Jack started this season in style with a goal after five minutes in our league opener against Raith Rovers, his first appearance of the season having missed the Viaplay Cup group stages through injury.

He’s gone on to start 24 of our 33 league games this season scoring twice and setting up four goals in those appearances.

Selected in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year for a third consecutive season, Brian Graham has had another incredible campaign in Partick Thistle colours.

Taking on the additional responsibility of being club captain, Graham has scored 18 Championship goals which sees him sitting top of the division’s goal charts with three games to play and has taken him well beyond last year’s league tally of 13.

Missing just two Championship games up to this point, some of his standout moments include a match-winning double at Cappielow, the decisive goal in a win at East End Park and an outstanding left-footed volley to claim a point at Inverness.

Everyone at the club would like to send our congratulations to Jack and Brian on their well-earned inclusions!
