Message from the Jags Trust – 26th November 2021

AGE IS BUT A NUMBER!

This is the United Nations Decade of Healthy Ageing which they describe as “galvanizing concerted action to change how we think, feel and act towards age and ageing.”

The Partick Thistle Charitable Trust is a perfect example of doing just that, leaving age where it should be, a number, and concentrating on what can be enjoyed, learned, experienced and shared by members and supporters together regardless of age.

Many Jags fans over the years have used the face-to-face and online zoom exercise meetings to maximise member participation during 2020 and 2021. The fitness group, now taking place at Petershill Sports Complex, looks forward not back at the past, and what there is still to be achieved, or tried or changed.

Already the fitness coaches are planning for 2022 and relaunches after the difficult times we have all experienced. Improve your fitness with the support and encouragement of new friends and those you see on the terraces of Firhill on a Saturday. Check it out!

MOVEMBER

We have almost reached the end of another Movember and hope you are proud of all your hard work and the resulting moustache, grown or detachable.

Movember fundraisers are a global community of fired up Mo Bros and Mo Sisters. With the money raised, the charity funds ground breaking health projects across mental health and suicide preventions, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – 1250 projects so far. The charity has made a huge impact and are hell-bent on making it even bigger with everyone’s support.

Only one question left – Will your “moustache” see in the New Year?

Partick Thistle Supporters Association Jags Trust Board welcomes to Firhill, the Chairperson, Office Bearers and Committee Members of Dunfermline FC “Pars Supporters Trust” for tonight’s Scottish Cup 3rd Round match.

Morag McHaffie,

Chairperson PTSA “The Jags Trust” and Supporters Direct Scotland Council.
