We are delighted to confirm that the upcoming season will see Steven Lawless receive a well-deserved testimonial.
You may have already seen the committee has made some introductory posts to the newly created Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly known as Twitter) accounts, but if you haven’t then follow them now to be kept up to date on everything and see plenty of Lawless content.
Season 2025/26 is Steven’s tenth at Firhill, over two spells, so the club has kindly granted him a testimonial year.
More than 300 appearances in red and yellow, approaching the 50-goal mark, a key part of the league title winning 2012/13 squad, and still a crucial player now at 34.
It’s a career deserving of celebration and we have that in store as work is already well underway to organise a year of events – so keep your eyes on our social pages for announcements, dates and full details as they come.
We’ve recently confirmed our first big day – on Sunday, August 24, you’ll be able to join us at Footgolf Cumbernauld with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. Full details will come in due course.
