The Stuart Bannigan testimonial game is just over two weeks away and preparations are going well for what will be a very special day celebrating a true Thistle legend.
A selection of former Thistle stars who played alongside Stuart have confirmed that they’ll be playing in the game on Sunday, 17th September including Kris Doolan, Chris Erskine, Sean Welsh and more!
The game offers fans an opportunity to show their appreciation to a player who has dedicated 13 years to Partick Thistle making over 350 appearances along the way.
From debuting as a teenager to winning the Championship title, from battling through injury hell to re-establishing himself as a regular once again, Banzo has given his all for the Jags for over a decade so we encourage every Jags fan, if they can, to come along and show him what he means to us all.
An adult ticket for the game costs just £10 while Stuart has specifically asked for the club’s Kids Go Free initiative to extend to his testimonial game – get your ticket here.
