The following is an update posted to ptfc.co.uk on behalf of the Stuart Bannigan Testimonial Committee:
Stuart Bannigan has been a Partick Thistle player for over thirteen years, a stat that is virtually unheard of in the modern football era. Due to his length of service, “Banzo” was kindly granted a testimonial year by the football club.
So far in 2023 we have hosted a race night, a golf day and most recently a testimonial match. The testimonial match in particular was a brilliant day, it gave an opportunity for some very popular past players to grace the Firhill surface one more time along with the current Thistle team who were the opposition for the day. A fantastic Jags support ensured it was a memorable day for Banzo.
The Stuart Bannigan Testimonial Committee would like to thank every single person who has supported us in making these events so successful.
Now we reach the finale. The last Testimonial Event of the year is a party! Banzo’s Big Bash is on Saturday 21st October, and we would love you to join us at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel for a night of fun with dinner, drinks, and live entertainment.
