Partick Thistle WFC are delighted to announce the signing of wide midfielder Mya Bates who takes the same route to Petershill Park as Erin Rennie, joining from Spartans.
Mya, capped nine times at under 19 level for Scotland, three times at under 17 level and once at under 15 level, began her senior career with Glasgow City before making the switch from west to east in the summer of 2022.
In her time at Ainslie Park the 20 year old made a total of 78 appearances scoring twelve times and contributed a further six assists.
Said manager David Elliot:
“Mya is a bright young talent who I’m really pleased to bring to the Football Club.
She has bags of pace and like Erin has played a lot of games at this level for someone so young.
“She will bring assists and goals and really get the team on the front foot and playing how I want them to next season.
Speaking after joining Mya said: “I’m delighted to join Partick Thistle. I feel this is the perfect place for me to come and learn and really grow my game to the next level.
“I want to contribute to the team as much as I can. I feel going forward and really use my attributes to help assist and hopefully score goals.
