Notice of AGM and Board changes

As we move into a hugely significant year for Partick Thistle in our 150th anniversary year, the Club Board can provide the following update.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of Partick Thistle Football Club Limited will be held on Thursday, 12 February 2026.

The meeting will take place at 7.30pm in the Alan Rough Suite at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill, 80 Firhill Road, Glasgow G20 7AL. The required documentation in support of the AGM has been distributed to shareholders and should arrive in the coming days.

Senior leadership team changes

The Board has been in ongoing dialogue with the Trustees regarding the composition of the club’s senior leadership team at Board and Working Group levels. Those talks have now resulted in an agreed way forward, which is reflected in the individual intentions of Board members to seek re-election at the AGM.

Caroline Mackie and Grant Russell will seek reappointment as Directors at the AGM. Alistair Gray will also do so, having been nominated for a second term as a Fan Elected Director in the PTFC Trust Fan Representative elections in October.

Max Ramsay, who was also nominated as a Fan Elected Director, has been co-opted onto the Board with Trustee approval ahead of the AGM.

With impending changes in the Club Academy System in Scotland from next season, Elliot Gilmour will no longer hold a dual position on both the Club Board and in the Academy, in a change from the arrangement that has been in place in recent years.

Instead, he will concentrate all his efforts as Director of the Academy to ensure that we continue to develop our youth system, which supports our community and provides a player development pathway to our first team in a way which maximises the potential for our whole club.

Jacqui McInnes will not be seeking reappointment due to a change in professional circumstances and has stepped down from the Board. Grant Stupart has also resigned from the Board and will not be standing.

Allan McGraw has now stepped down from the board ahead of the AGM, in line with his term as a Fan Elected Director coming to an end. Allan’s tenure officially ended on 31 December 2025, after a transition period to ensure a smooth handover.

Donald McClymont does not require reappointment at the AGM, and he will continue on the Board.

Finance Working Group

Following consultation between the Board and the Trustees, a new approach to the company’s financial administration and oversight has been agreed.

The Finance Working Group has subsequently been restructured, with Sandy Fyfe leading the group, which reports to the Club Board. Further information about the restructured finance function at the Club, and the new remit of the Finance Working Group, will be communicated in due course
