St. Mirren have activated the recall clause in Oisin Smyth’s loan agreement meaning the Northern Irishman has returned to Paisley with immediate effect.
Having made the temporary switch to Maryhill on 1st September, Oisin became an important part of the Thistle midfield during his 18 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The 25-year-old also netted two goals of great importance as a Jag – a winner against Ross County at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill and a last-gasp equaliser away to Airdrieonians at The Albert Bartlett Stadium.
