Paddy Reading has been chosen as the Seven Wealth Player of the Month for November with the left sided defender picking up over 45% of the 1218 votes cast.
A series of high-level performances throughout last month was the bedrock for Paddy’s nomination, alongside his playing colleagues Josh Clarke, Aidan Fitzpatrick and Luke McBeth, and the award is a ground breaker in his career.
Paddy, who joined the club from Ayr United in the summer, said: “This is my first Player of the Month Award as a senior player so I must be doing something right. It is terrific to be recognised by the fans however I am the first to admit that there were a good number of boys who could have won it this month.”
“Everyone has been at a high standard, but it is great that I was chosen to win November’s Seven Wealth Award.”
The 26-year-old who, as being part of a mean defence and an exciting attack, scored a thumping 25 yarder against Queen’s Park last month added: “I enjoy the role that I play here and that has allowed me to play at a consistent level. I have the freedom to join in with our attack and I like that.”
“It is good to get on the ball and be involved a lot both in defence and attack.”
“As a team we are doing well this season, but it is early days, and it is a tough league where anyone can beat anyone. We are all staying grounded in the dressing room.”
