Within this most challenging of years, the work of the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust has consistently helped local people in most need and proven a source of pride for all at the club.
Since March and the beginning of the impact of the pandemic, PTCT has provided tens of thousands of free meals to the vulnerable, elderly and families in need, all living close to Firhill.
This work is ongoing, but at Christmas there is a specific need. One week ahead of Christmas Day, the Trust hopes to deliver 240 hot Christmas dinners, alongside essentials packs filled with tea/coffee and festive treats, plus gifts, to the elderly community.
None of this can happen without continual fundraising and the support of a number of partners.
