Partick Thistle were honoured to welcome Robert Dinnie, his wife Erin and daughter Ailey to The Wyre Stadium at Firhill recently.
Robert is the son of our Hall of Fame member, Bobby Dinnie MBE, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 91 and with Erin and Ailey he popped into the club that his dad served so well to see Bobby’s Hall of Fame plaque in The Jackie Husband Stand.
Club Director Caroline Mackie said: “Robert, Erin and Ailey were more than welcome guests at our home. Arizona to Glasgow is a round trip of over 10,000 miles and whilst the visit was tinged with sadness, the smiles on their faces when they saw Bobby’s Hall of Fame memorial, showed that the journey was worth it.”
