The annual Partick Thistle Open Day, sponsored by iBaller, returns for the new season bigger and better than ever before. It will take place on Sunday July 29th, the day after Thistle’s final game of the Betfred Cup group stages against Ayr United. Young and old, season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders, all Jags fans are invited to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill for the event, which is completely FREE.
The fun-filled family day kicks off at 11am with an iBaller football carnival in the Jackie Husband Stand car park. Try your luck at iBaller’s various stations for the chance to win some Thistle-themed prizes. If footballing skills aren’t your strong point, there will be plenty of entertainment with a face painter and bouncy castle and many more activities on the day. If that’s too much effort, relax with some tasty ice cream from our ice cream truck.
The day kicks off with Alan Archibald putting his squad through their paces in an open training session. Following that, you’ll have the chance to meet your favourite Jags players during a bumper signing session in the Jackie Husband Stand concourse.
After collecting signatures from the Jags squad, head to the Alan Rough Lounge for a question and answer discussion during which you will hear from the Management Team and the Board. The afternoon will conclude with a meeting of the fans’ shareholders group, the PTFC Trust.
You won’t go hungry as street food will be available from catering trucks to keep you well fed throughout the day. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase your season ticket for the season ahead if you haven’t signed up for the 2018/19 campaign already – and the brand new Partick Thistle kits will also available to buy on the day.
So save the date in your diary for an action-packed Sunday Jags fest at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.
