We are pleased to announce this afternoon, that James Penrice has signed a two year contract extension with the club, meaning he will remain at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill until the summer of 2020.
James, who only turned 19 in December, progressed through the Thistle Weir Youth Academy before making his first team debut in May 2016 against Dundee United.
The young left back spent time out on loan with East Fife and Livingston to gain vital first team experience and has now returned to Alan Archibald’s squad to challenge for a first team place.
All at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill are delighted that James will remain with the club until 2020 and look forward to watching him develop even more in the red and yellow.
