All at Partick Thistle were shocked to learn of the sudden passing of Thistle Weir Youth Academy scout Phillip Reilly.
Phillip had a deep love for football throughout his life and he supported Thistle in any way he could. He diligently carried out scouting duties for Thistle’s youth set-up for a number of years, combining it with coaching in Bishopbriggs schools helping to develop Academy graduates such as Stuart Bannigan, Andrew McCarthy and Callum Wilson.
Phillip continued to support Thistle into this unique campaign purchasing, as he always did on a yearly basis, player sponsorship by choosing to sponsor Darren Brownlie’s away top and boots for the season.
The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Phillip’s family and friends at this difficult time.
