We would like to give our sincere thanks to the players leaving the club for their efforts across their time in red and yellow.

Lewis Neilson joined the club on loan from Hearts last summer and has gone on to make 43 appearances this past season. Playing both in central defence and in central midfield, the 21-year-old scored his first senior goal during his loan spell, against Queen’s Park in January at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill.

Kerr McInroy arrived from Kilmarnock on a temporary deal last August, making his Jags debut in our league opener against Raith Rovers. The midfielder went on to score his first Thistle goals in his next league appearance as we beat Queen’s Park 3-1. He finished the campaign with five goals and 10 assists to his name in all competitions.

A loan signing from Aberdeen, Kieran Ngwenya finished the season having played 21 games in Thistle colours. The defender made his debut in a Viaplay Cup defeat to Hearts but would earn his first start as the team beat Ayr United 4-0 at Somerset Park. His campaign was interrupted by a significant ankle injury which kept him out for over three months though he was able to recover and play a part during the run-in.

English striker Tomi Adeloye joined on loan from Swindon Town at the end of July last year. He announced himself as a Jag with an excellent goal against Morton at Cappielow in a 4-1 win before following it up with another goal seconds after coming off the bench against former club Ayr United. In total, Adeloye racked up eight goals in 27 games for Thistle before his season was cut short by a serious hamstring injury.

Having signed for the club in the summer of 2017, Jamie Sneddon leaves Maryhill as one of our longest-serving players. The 26-year-old has made 128 appearances for Thistle keeping 47 clean sheets and even scoring an unforgettable goal, against Cove Rangers in December 2022. His time with Jags has also included a League 1 title and a club record-breaking run of shutouts.

Fellow goalkeeper Ross Stewart was brought in by Kris Doolan in January having most recently been with Hearts. Stewart would make three appearances for the Jags with the last of those three coming at Tannadice on the final day of the cinch Championship season.

Finally, Ji Stevenson has been associated with the club since 2017 when he joined the Academy at under 12s level and has progressed right up to first team level. He made his senior debut in September 2021 against Stranraer and has made one further appearance since, in a Viaplay Cup fixture against Dundee United at the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

Everyone at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill thanks Lewis, Kerr, Kieran, Tomi, Jamie, Ross and Ji for their respective contributions to Partick Thistle Football Club and wishes them all the best for their futures in football.

Given his length of service and list of both team and personal achievements as a Thistle player, we will publish a standalone thank you to Jamie Sneddon tomorrow.
