Partick Thistle can confirm that seven players whose contracts were due to expire on 30th June 2020 have had their contracts extended until 31st July 2020.
Chief Executive, Gerry Britton, explains:
“While there has been plenty of talk about the resumption of football across the Scottish leagues, we are not yet in a place where we can plan with complete certainty and by extension of that our players are in the same position. Therefore, we will continue to reserve our right to look after our own while they are still our own. Seven players whose contracts are due for expiry on 30th June 2020 have had their contracts extended until the end of July as we continue to use the government furlough scheme.”
