We would like to give our sincere thanks to the players leaving the club for their efforts across their time in red and yellow.

Lee Hodson joined the club on loan from Kilmarnock in August and has gone on to make 34 appearances, scoring one goal. The former Watford man has provided valuable versatility over the course of the season, performing well at full-back, in central defence and midfield.

The other loanee returning to their parent club is Cole McKinnon who joined us from Rangers last July. The Scottish youth international has made a total 31 appearances in Thistle colours, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Darren Brownlie joined the club in January 2020 from Queen of the South and played a key role in our League One title triumph in 2021 as well as our run to the cinch Premiership play-off final this year. He leaves Firhill with 65 appearances in all competitions and two goals.

Billy Owens is a product of the Thistle Weir Youth Academy who signed a modern apprenticeship with the club in May 2021. His first senior appearance came in the final game of the 20/21 campaign against Montrose and he made two further first team appearances for the club, both in the League Cup.

Gospel Ocholi is another one of our academy graduates who joined as a modern apprentice in 2021. He made his Thistle debut in a League Cup group stage win over Dumbarton at Firhill and has since spent time out on loan at Benburb, Dalbeattie Star and Gala Fairydean Rovers.

Cammy Smith arrived in Maryhill in July 2021, returning to Scotland after a stint in the United States with Indy Eleven. The midfielder has played 61 times as a Jag, scoring one goal which came against Ayr United in a 4-0 win at Firhill.

Scott Tiffoney initially arrived in Maryhill in March 2021 on a short term loan from Livingston, scoring eight goals in 13 games as the Jags won the League One title before penning a two-year deal that summer. He now departs the club having made 87 appearances and scored 25 goals including 12 this past season.

Finally, Danny Mullen signed with the club last July after leaving Dundee earlier in the summer, scoring on his debut as a substitute against Montrose. He’s gone on to make 35 appearances in Thistle colours, finding the back of the net six times – most notably bagging the winner at Somerset Park in Kris Doolan’s first game in charge.

We wish Lee, Cole, Darren, Billy, Gospel, Cammy, Scott and Danny the very best for their respective futures in the game.
