After three years without an in-person meeting on Christmas Day, the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust’s Festive Friends initiative will be back this year as they welcome members of the local community to Petershil Park
The last time the Charitable Trust were able to host the event in person was back in 2019 when over 120 guests were invited to the Alan Rough Lounge to enjoy a three-course meal, bingo, entertainment, gifts, and free transport to and from the event.
Now, after a couple of very difficult years for everyone, PTCT will be opening Petershill Park’s doors again to anyone who may be feeling isolated at this time of year or who may struggle to celebrate Christmas with all its festive goodness.
To help ensure they can deliver the event at its full potential, the Trust are asking for donations from anyone who is in a position donate – you can do so here.
They are also seeking any volunteers who would be willing and able to give up their time and help with three key areas for the event:
