Partick Thistle Women’s FC are pleased to announce the signing of defender Louise Magilton after she featured as a trialist against Glasgow City in our last SWPL1 fixture.
The former Scotland Under-19 International defender had previously spent time with Spartans and Forfar Farmington before leaving to concentrate on her career.
However, after training with the team for a spell, becomes Brian Graham’s second signing of the winter break.
After signing Magilton said: “I’ve been away from the game for several years focusing on my career and am delighted that Brian and the team have been so welcoming and have given me the opportunity to get back playing.
The squad are fantastic and hopefully I can contribute to a successful season and help the team up the table.”
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said: “Louise has been with us for a number of weeks while she got fit after a spell out of the game but her quality has really shown in training, so I’m really happy to add her to the squad.
“She adds experience and has been great around the other girls so can be an important player between now and the end of the season”
