Partick Thistle Women’s FC is excited to announce the signing of forward Dionne Brown for the rest of the 2021/22 season.
The former Celtic player has been training with the squad for a number of weeks and has featured as a trialist in the SWPL 1.
Dionne has also previously played at Motherwell and Hamilton Accies, where she was the SWPL 2 top goalscorer during the 2019 season.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said: “I’m pleased to have Dionne on board. She’s a player we know well from playing against us. She’s played a few games as trialist for us recently and gives us extra options. She’s still working her way back from having a child but I think she can have an impact for us between now and the end of the season.”
After signing delighted Brown said: “I feel like I have been here for years, the team have made me feel so welcome. There’s a great vibe about Thistle and I can wait to get going with such a talented group of players “
