Partick Thistle Women’s F.C. are delighted to announce the signing of South African international forward Tanna Hollis.

Hollis, whose father holds a British passport, joins the Jags from JVW FC in her homeland, where she built an impressive goalscoring record with the club based just outside Johannesburg.
The 20-year-old made her senior international debut for the Banyana Banyana in October, featuring in a 1–0 victory over Namibia as South Africa finished runners-up in the COSAFA Cup.
A product of the JVW academy — a club founded by former SWPL player Janine van Wyk — Hollis progressed to their first team in 2022. She now moves to Petershill Park aiming to make an impact in Red and Yellow and create history by becoming the club’s first senior international to be capped while at Partick Thistle.
Speaking after arriving in Glasgow, Tanna said:
“I’m really excited to be here. It’s a big move for me and I can’t wait to get started.
“I know a few players in the league from my time at JVW and they speak really highly of both the league and Partick Thistle.
“Everyone has been really welcoming already and I’m looking forward to showing what I can do on the pitch.”
Manager Gary Holt added:
“It’s a major coup for us to bring Tanna to the club. She’s an international player who will add real quality to our squad.
“She’s a proven goalscorer and gives us more options in an area we’ve perhaps been a bit light in this season.
“It’s a big move for her — not just to a new league, but to a new country and culture — but she’ll be very well looked after here.”
