Partick Thistle Women’s FC is delighted to announce the double signing of twins Eva and Sophie Payne as the team continue preparations for the 2021/22 SWPL 1 season.
The two attackers have been in training with the squad over the past couple of weeks and even made their Thistle debuts during last weekend’s draw against Hearts at the Oriam after putting pen to paper prior to the game. Sophie started the game while Eva was introduced as a first half substitute.
The young duo arrive at PTWFC having most recently been with Glasgow City’s under 19s side.
PTWFC manager Brian Graham said: “Eva and Sophie are two young players who we think have bright futures in the game. They have been training with us and impressed in training. We will be looking to develop them for the future, and look to enhance their careers in any way that we can.”
