Partick Thistle Women’s FC can provide a further squad update and confirm that Imogen Longcake, Carla Boyce, Ailey Tibbett and Abbie Ferns have left the club.
Imogen Longcake leaves to take on a challenge back in England. The pacy winger joined the club in January 2023 and sice made the long commute from her home in Carlisle for training and matches, showing her commitment to the club. In total she made 82 appearances and scored 11 goals.
Her and her family’s impact on and off the pitch at Partick Thistle has been huge and they’ll all be hugely missed. We wish them all the very best for the future.
Carla Boyce arrived at the club in January 2024 and scored 17 goals in 51 games including topping the scoring charts last season. She moves on to another challenge with our thanks for everything in Red and Yellow and best of luck for the future.
Ailey Tibbett and Abbie Ferns both arrived at the club last season and both served as back up to goalkeeper Jeni Currie, unable to force their way into the team such was Jeni’s Player of the Year form. We wish them both the best for the next steps in their career.
