We are saddened to announce the passing of Robert (Rab) Richardson who was a volunteer at both the club and The Partick Thistle Charitable Trust.
Rab, who was life-long Thistle fan helped the club in their post-match clean up operations, usually wearing one of the many Jags strips that he owned, as well as being a regular at the Petershill home of the Trust where he was a member of their Accepting Activity Programme.
Acting General Manager Graham McRoberts said: “Rab was a well-known figure at Partick Thistle and he cared about the club passionately. He would strike up a conversation with anyone at the club, including players and management, and most importantly tell them how winning the next game was crucial.”
“He has passed at the age of just 46 and our heart-felt condolences go to his family and friends.”
