During March, for the first time as a Jag, Scott Robinson started every game in a month and the Partick Thistle support clearly like what they saw from the midfielder as they have voted him the McCrea Financial Services Player of the Month!
Robinson bagged two winning goals in March, finding the decisive strikes against Greenock Morton and Inverness to help the Jags finish the month with three straight wins, however, it was more than just his prowess in front of goal which caught the eye.
His endless pressing, tenacity in the air and quality in possession all meant he was a vital part of a Thistle side that accumulated 11 points from six games in March.
Upon receiving the award, Scott said:
“It was a brilliant March for me personally but there were strong performances throughout the squad and that reflects the way we are all fighting for each other, always putting the team first.
“The most important thing was winning those three games in a row to get some vital points and we are just keen to build on that in April.
“I’m delighted to win the McCrea Financial Services Player of the Month for March and thank the supporters who voted for me, they have been brilliant with me all season and I’m pleased I’ve been able to reward their backing recently.”
