Partick Thistle can confirm that Ryan Williamson will leave the Club upon the expiry of his contract later this month.
The athletic fullback appeared almost 50 times in red and yellow during his two seasons in Maryhill. Ryan became an influential part of a Thistle rearguard which recorded two club record clean sheet streaks throughout our League One title campaign. As well as helping the side defensively to keep clean sheets, his attacking play offered an extra dynamism and threat to our attack throughout the season.
Ryan leaves with the thanks of everyone at Partick Thistle and with our best wishes for the future.
Thistle manager, Ian McCall said:
“Ryan was a big part of our League One title winning side last season and his contribution to that success will always be recorded in the history of our club. His commitment to the side, throughout the entire season, was never in question and he more than played his part in helping us seal the league one title.
