Midfielder Scott Martin has joined Queen’s Park on loan until the end of the season, subject to Scottish FA clearance.
A product of the Hibernian youth system, Scott joined us in February 2025 from Hamilton Accies and made his Jags debut that same month in an away game at Falkirk, however, a significant knee injury in his fifth appearance at the club ruled him out for an extended period.
The 28-year-old made his return from said injury in November as we took on Forfar Athletic in the Scottish Cup and has since made nine further appearances for Mark Wilson’s side.
Now he makes the intra-city loan switch to Sean Crighton’s Spiders who currently sit eighth in the Championship.
Thistle Head Coach Mark Wilson said:
“Scott has been a constructive member of our squad this season – even when he was rehabbing his injury he kept a positive mindset and was often putting smiles on faces around the place.
“It’s been great to see him getting back out on the pitch in the last few months but his minutes have still been limited which is why this loan move makes a lot of sense for him. It’s a chance to get regular gametime while still playing at Championship level and we wish him all the best for his time with Queen’s Park.”
