All at Partick Thistle were shocked to learn that former Jag Scott “Trigger” McLean had been admitted to hospital for treatment following a stroke.
The popular striker joined Thistle from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 1999 and spent four successful years with the club, playing a pivotal role in Thistle earning back to back promotions. During the 2000/01 campaign, Scott netted in eight consecutive league matches – a club record which stands today.
All within the Thistle family wish Scott well as he looks to make a full recovery.
