Following the Scottish Government’s announcement this week that supporters may be able to return to stadiums from mid-September, preparations continue to ensure that we can welcome fans as soon as it is safe and permitted to do so. We will have regular discussions with the SPFL and Scottish FA to finalise entry arrangements as quickly as possible, so that we can prepare for the safe return of Thistle supporters into Firhill.
In line with this latest government update we continue to work on all season ticket, social bubble and spectator arrangements for season 2020/21, alongside our ticketing partner. These remain provisional plans on the basis that we become able to admit some supporters to Firhill for restricted attendance matches.
Ahead of the imminent relaunch of season tickets for 2020/21, we ask supporters to note the following update as per the category they fall within:
It should be noted that in the event of restricted attendance matches, all season ticket holders may require to change seat to enable the club to accommodate all social bubbles at appropriate distances. It is the club’s intention to make any such changes minimal in distance.
The club has now received more than 100 individual requests for social bubbles. If you have not yet received a response to your email, we would appreciate your patience. At present, we have one colleague working through the social bubble requests, as well as performing a number of other duties on a daily basis.
Season ticket holders who are registered at the same address will be automatically entered into a social bubble. If you haven’t checked your details yet, we would encourage all Thistle fans to do so as quickly as possible.
Season ticket holders intending to attend games on their own are not required to do anything.
Information about the streaming of home matches, which will be available for supporters up until the point that Firhill is fully open again, will follow in September after the season ticket relaunch.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
