Partick Thistle can today confirm the signing of Gary Harkins on an 18 month contract, subject to SFA approval.
The 33 year old midfielder joins the Jags as a free agent and will be available for selection in Gary Caldwell’s side from Tuesday 1st January 2019.
Gary is no stranger to Maryhill having spent two seasons as a Jag between 2007 and 2009 making almost 100 appearances for the Club. During his second campaign with Thistle, Gary netted 12 goals earning a six-figure move to Dundee.
The creative midfielder is well known throughout Scottish football having starred with Kilmarnock, St Mirren, Ayr United and Greenock Morton, as well as enjoying three spells at Dens Park. He has featured regularly for Queen of the South during the opening half of the 2018/19 season, leaving the Doonhamers in 4th position in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Gary will wear squad number 11 for the Jags.
