Like every supporter we are hurting at the outcome of Sunday’s game. Relegation to the Championship was clearly not what any of us expected at the start of the season, and it will take some time to work through all of the ramifications.
Sunday’s statement from the Club advised that they will be meeting this week to ‘look at every aspect of the Club to ensure that we make the right decisions for the future of Partick Thistle’ and we in the PTFC Trust, who are supporter representatives, will look to play our role, as your voice, in assisting the Club at this challenging time.
Over recent years there have been many positive developments at the Club and it is vital that we all work together to ensure that, despite this setback, Thistle as a club continues to progress. As we mentioned in the programme for the Motherwell game we will be seeking to arrange a meeting of the Trust with supporters in line with the Club’s Open Day in July and will look to announce the date as soon as we can. Our Club has been through difficult times in the past and we have bounced back. We will again.
