As we gear up for the return of competitive football at Firhill this Saturday afternoon, the club has been working hard to ensure the best possible live stream experience is in place for supporters.
We have conducted a number of test events with our streaming partner throughout pre-season which has thrown up new challenges each time.
While we continue to have dialogue with our streaming partner, we have opted to work with another external streaming company, utilising human operated cameras, for this Saturday’s Betfred Cup group match against Queen’s Park at Firhill. This decision has been taken so we can provide a reliable matchday stream with audio commentary for our first competitive home game of the season, while at the same time still considering all options for the full home league season from October 24. The streaming company which will be responsible for this Saturday’s output has experience of working similarly with other SPFL clubs.
Information on how to purchase your stream ticket for Saturday’s Betfred Cup clash against Queen’s Park, priced at £10 each, will follow tomorrow.
As this is a cup tie, Saturday’s game is not available on the 2020/21 Partick Thistle season ticket with all season ticket holders requiring to purchase a stream ticket to access the live stream of Saturday’s match.
