Stuart Bannigan became the latest Partick Thistle legend to be inducted into the Partick Thistle Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
Almost 200 people were in attendance in the Alan Rough Lounge to see Stuart inducted into the Hall of Fame on a night of celebration.
Surrounded by his friends, family and a number of former teammates, it was an enjoyable night for all involved.
Throughout the evening, Michael Max spoke to Stuart’s teammates Stephen O’Donnell, Steven Lawless, Kris Doolan, Chris Erskine and Ross Docherty allowing all fans in attendance to reminisce over Stuart’s Thistle career to date.
Current Thistle manager, Ian McCall – who handed Stuart his debut in 2010 – gave his remarks in tribute to the Jags number eight before ex Grade 1 referee Willie Young entertained the audience as our main after dinner speaker.
All that remained was some closing remarks from the club’s Chief Executive Gerry Britton who took the opportunity to congratulate Stuart and formally induct him into the Hall of Fame.
We look forward to adding more Thistle legends to the Hall of Fame in the future.
