Student Projects see 6,000 first time supporters visit and further benefits to come

Partick Thistle led by Club Board member Alistair Gray and TJF Board member David Brown have been running engagement projects across world-renowned Educational Institutions over recent months and the latest one, involving University of Glasgow International MBA students and their tutors, kicked off this week.

In addition to forging strong links between the Club and the University, these projects are intended to provide useful experience for the students and practical feedback as well as ideas for the Club.

These projects dovetail perfectly with the desire to increase the club’s fanbase in the coming years by attracting new supporters especially as Glasgow is one the top cities in Great Britain for students remaining in after graduation.
Since this season started last summer approximately 6,000 first time supporters have been amongst the Red and Yellow Army at our home league games and it is hoped that this will continue to grow for the remainder of this campaign and grow even higher in season 2025/26.
We currently have six active student lead projects that will be delivered between now and the end of the season. As the projects reach their conclusion, we will bring you the highlights and show where some of the actions will benefit the club and our supporters.
