In this season’s match programme we are giving Jags fans the opportunity to select their favourite Jags eleven ever. In every issue a different supporter has the opportunity to assemble their all-time dream side.
Picking your dream team couldn’t be simpler:
Step 1 – Decide on your formation. It can be a classic 4-2-3-1, a free flowing 4-3-3, a controversial 3-5-2 or a basic 4-4-2, you can pick any formation you wish for your Jags team.
Step 2 – Whittle down the candidates. There are hundreds of Jags players to choose from so whittling them down to just eleven will prove tough. Who comes out on top in that goalkeeping battle? Which striker gets to wear the number nine jersey? Who is that one game wonder who left you dazzled as a youngster before moving on after just 90 minutes? Once you’ve decided your line up, you are almost there.
Step 3 – Why have you picked that player? A brief explanation of how that Jag has made it into your dream team will allow readers of the match programme to understand your selection and who knows, a player who have picked might make it into their team.
Step 4 – Send it to the club. You can do this by emailing your dream team to with the subject line “jags dream team” or by posting your selection to us at Partick Thistle Football Club, 90 Firhill Road, Glasgow, G20 7AL. Please mark your letter for the attention of the media team.
