A massive thanks is owed to Cane and Grain International who, earlier this year, produced 150 bottles of a single cask, 11-year-old malt whisky to celebrate our 150th anniversary.
The UK-based fine spirits bottling company, who have supported the club through trackside advertising, kit sponsorship and more in the past, stepped forward to create a limited-edition blend which marks a century and half of the Jags.
Emanating from the legendary Caol Ila Distillery in Islay, each bottle of the one-off whisky was individually numbered with the entire batch selling out in just over a day.
The club would like to place on record its gratitude to Cane and Grain for producing such an outstanding product which added a unique and memorable touch to the celebrations.
We were also delighted to welcome Brian Woods from Cane and Grain to Firhill Stadium to receive a bottle of the anniversary whisky as a mark of our thankfulness to them and to reflect the spirit of the partnership which led to the drink’s creation.
