The desperate disappointment in Dingwall yesterday continues to sting one day on, the cruellest conclusion to one of the most remarkable run-ins of any Partick Thistle season.
While words can do little if anything to ease the pain of supporters today, all at the club wish to acknowledge the exceptional backing of fans this season, especially over the past couple of months. Your support yesterday in Dingwall in particular was world class and everyone at Firhill would like to sincerely thank all 2,000+ fans who made the journey and sang their hearts out.
Something truly special has bonded the red and yellow army in the stands with the players on the pitch and the management team in the dugout in recent months and that has to be the fuel for the club to move forward and go again next season.
On that note, Partick Thistle manager Kris Doolan has today commenced talks with players out of contract at the club as he plans ahead for next season and we will provide updates on those discussions in due course.
Season ticket sales for 2023/24 will be launched within the next week as we look to build on the positive momentum of recent weeks and give Kris as much backing as possible as he reshapes his squad this summer.
We can’t forget yesterday but we must move forward and so the hard work for season 2023/24 is already under way.
Thank you for your support, you’re magic, you know.
