Partick Thistle is pleased to announce a new partnership agreement with Tigers Group for the forthcoming season 2022/23.
The partnership with one of Scotland’s leading training providers and advocates for vocational education will see the Tigers brand displayed proudly at the South End of Firhill stadium on a bespoke banner.
Tigers, a commercial business with social purpose , formed over twenty years ago, by founder and keen Thistle fan John Gibson exist to inspire and support people to reach their infinite potential. John is also a member of our highly valued ‘71 club.
Under the leadership of current Group Managing Director Pauline Scott, Tigers has grown to employ over 100 staff all of whom are dedicated to ensuring the young people of Glasgow and beyond have access to meaningful employment opportunities via foundation and modern apprenticeships with dedicated training academies in the construction, business and early years sectors.
Partick Thistle Chief Executive, Gerry Britton, said:
“It is fantastic to welcome Tigers as a new partner to the Club and add them to our sponsor banners at the South End of the stadium. Although they are a new name in terms of a partner, there are a couple of familiar faces within the organisation with Founder and Chairman, John Gibson, a long standing member of our 71 Club and an old teammate of mine, Jamie Mitchell, now working within the organisation.
“It’s always great when a new organisation gives their support to the Club and we look forward to working with tigers throughout the season ahead.”
Tigers Group Managing Director Pauline Scott said, “It is a delight to create a partnership with a football club who have real community at its core and whose values align with our own at Tigers. It feels like a natural addition to the partnerships we hold with schools and businesses across the country.”
