Thistle v Airdrieonians stadium entry information

We are pleased to be able to welcome a full complement of fans to Firhill for this Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie against Airdrieonians after restrictions on outdoor events were lifted earlier this week, however, we are still asking fans to follow the guidance below to help keep Firhill as safe as possible for everyone.

Supporters of both teams are reminded that to be able to attend this fixture you must either have Proof of Vaccination, Proof of a Negative Test or be exempt from Vaccination. Please arrive early on matchday as this requirement may add time between your arrival at and entry into the stadium.

Proof Of Vaccination

Until further notice, supporters attending matches at Firhill should be prepared to provide visual proof of vaccination, which includes a booster vaccine for those who had their last dose more four months ago, to gain entry to the stadium, unless exempt.

Supporters are asked to arrive with one of the following ready to show to stewards on approach to Firhill:

Proof Of Negative Test

Confirmation of a negative Lateral Flow or PCR test result from the last 24 hours will be accepted as an alternative to proof of vaccination to gain entry to Firhill on a matchday. Please have an email or text confirmation from the NHS ready as proof.

We also recommend that all supporters take a Lateral Flow Test before travelling to Firhill, regardless of their vaccination status, and act accordingly as per the result. Even if your result is negative, should you be displaying any symptoms or feeling unwell in any way, please do not attend.

Exemptions

Supporters who are exempt from a vaccination and cannot take a test must be prepared to provide evidence of this. Exemptions are applicable to those:

  • Under the age of 18
  • Not able to get the vaccine or take a test for medical reasons
  • Taking part in vaccine trials
  • Matchday employees and volunteers
  • Persons responsible for the premises
  • Emergency services responders and regulators carrying out their work

Further information regarding the Scottish Government’s accepted proof of exemptions can be found at:
