The Thistle Weir Youth Academy have today announced Jones Whyte as its main “front of shirt” sponsor.
With youth football across Scotland currently suspended, the one-year deal will take effect from when it is safe for the Academy to return to the pitch. The sponsorship will see the Jones Whyte logo appear on the front of all Academy match strips from the under 11s squad right through to the under 16s.

Thistle Weir Youth Academy Director Scott Allison said: “We’re pleased to welcome Jones Whyte on board as a partner. The support they have shown, at such a turbulent time throughout the world, is fantastic and we look forward to wearing their logo on our strips when football returns.
“Although organised football is currently suspended, we have moved our Academy to an online platform and have a number of home training techniques, tasks and challenges which are live for all our players to take part in. We have kept our players and coaches connected which has helped to support our players both physically and mentally.”
